On-Line Adoption Application

Pet ownership is a serious commitment that the entire household needs to consider and agree to before the animal is adopted. We want to ensure that each adoptive household is aware of, and willing and able to accept, the physical and financial responsibilities of pet ownership. Not everyone who desires to own a pet is ready to properly care for one. This extensive questionnaire will assist both you and us in determining if your household is prepared to assume the role of responsible caretaker for a rescued or rehomed doodle.

Important Notice to assure quality of life and the safety of our rescued dogs:

  • If you are applying for a specific dog in our program - Please be sure that you meet the requirements. We will not consider applications that do not MEET ALL the stated requirements for that dog.
  • We will not adopt any of our rescued dogs into homes where there are dogs over 6 months of age that are intact.
  • We can not ship dogs. New adoptive families will be required to pick up the dog from the foster home. In the event the dog needs to be returned, we will need the family to return the dog back to the foster home which he came from. Thus, long distance placements will be not possible.
  • We will rarely place rescued dogs in homes with young children that do not also have a fenced yard.
  • We have found that the very best situations for rescue dogs are with families that have had some experience with dogs. We will rarely be able to place a rescue dog into a home which has no dog experience.
  • Dogs must remain safely in the home if the new adoptive family is gone. Dogs are not to be left outside when the family is away from the home.

Where there is a red astrick (*) you are required to provide information (which applies to almost all the questions)
Note: This is a long form and will take a bit of time to complete, so get relaxed and have a beverage!
