IDOG RRR Home - About Us
IDOG Rescue/Rehome Resources is a program of the International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. IDOG is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organizations IDOG RRR program was started in August 2006. The program and the entire organization operates solely by non paid volunteers. During the first year of operation 1,300 doodles have been helped by our organization.
The IDOG RRR program is structured to assist throughout the United States and Canada. We have volunteers throughout North America who are ready to help with the efforts, be it with helping with transport, setting up safe havens, offering foster homes and doing home visits to potential doodle owners.
We offer:
- Rehome Prevention: If you are having problems, let us know and maybe we have some sources in your area which can help you work through the problem!
- Rehome Assistance: We can provide you with tips on how to find a safe and good home for your doodle. This includes, several forms developed that will help owners screen potential candidates.
- Shelter Partnership: For shelters who have a Labradoodle or Goldendoodle in their facility, we can cross post their information on to our heavy traffic PooMixRescue.com site.
- Rescue: Utilizing our Foster Homes we will bring in a dog and keep the dog safe and get them back to health until we find the right family for the dog.]
- Rescue Doodle Adoptions: Potential new doodle owners submit their applications for consideration.
- New Family of Rescue Support: Through our relationship with an on line forum called TheDoodleZoo.com new families can post questions and get information and support from fellow doodle owners. We hope to soon have a resource listing of behaviorist and trainers throughout the US as an additional resource.
