Kian started his job as a reading therapy dog at the Weinberg Village in Waimanalo, Hawaii. The Village is transitional housing for homeless families. They are supported here for 2 years as they try to find jobs and homes of their own. The children are reading far below grade level. It's the first time a lot of them have been in a stable school environment. Kian was certified in Aug 2006. He is 18 months old and is an apricot mini multigen LD from SunsetHills Aus. He certified as a Canine Good Citizen in Feb. 2006.

Because Max's Granny has Alzheimer's, he became a Therapy Dog.
