The International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. is a worldwide not-for-profit 501(c)(3) group, dedicated educating the public, providing resources and encouraging responsible ownership and breeding practices. We provide support and resources to help doodle owners and doodles in need. We work with shelters to help them communicate and provide them our network resources to help locate quality forever homes for doodle dogs.

The International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. is truly a community coming together in the interest of Goldendoodle and Labradoodles.

 

The International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. (IDOG) is a worldwide not-for-profit 501(c)(3) group, dedicated to educating the public on the subject of Labradoodles and Goldendoodles. IDOG encourages responsible ownership and responsible breeding practices. We provide support and resources to help Labradoodle and Goldendoodle owners and doodles in need. We work with shelters to assist in communications, lending our network of resources to help locate quality forever homes for Labradoodles and Goldendoodles.

Our mission is to support people so that they can:

  1. Make good decisions before a doodle comes into the home:
    Timing, expense, environment
    Breeder or Rescue
    Individual doodle traits/personalities

  2. Make good decisions after a doodle comes into the home:
    Training and dog behavior education
    Support from other doodle owners

  3. Encourage doodle owners to "Carry it forward":
    Support doodle owners who are struggling
    Volunteer through IDOG or any other organization that improves the quality of their community
  4. Provide Rescue Services that includes:
    Safe and benevolent handling of dogs
    Locate the very best home for each individual dog
    Support rescued dog families
